I have to be honest, I used to be a beach person, but not in a long while. If you’ve seen my skin, you understand why. I do have to say that I don’t think Sarah and Pat could have picked a better location for their wedding. It was at a resort in the Keys named La Siesta. It made me fall in love with the beach all over again! They did it right! They rented out a huge beach house and had friends there to celebrate, leading up the wedding day.
This wedding was particularly special because they had just welcomed a baby girl, Nora, into the world only a few months prior. I instantly fell in love with her upon my arrival. You could feel how much her mom and dad love her, and there is nothing sweeter than that. Needless to say, there was a lot of love on July 17, 2010.
Sarah and Pat…you two are so warm and inviting. Thomas and I felt so welcome. Thank you so much for inviting us to spend such a special day with you two. <3
Yep…this is Nora. (I know!!!)
This is one of my favorite pictures from the day. It’s dad standing in the room while all of his girls are getting ready.
I LOVE mom’s face here! This so reminds me of something my mother would be doing!
Sarah’s aunt surprised Sarah with an old family ring. I love these pictures of the moment, and I love the ring almost as much! Beautiful!
I am such a people watcher. It’s so neat to see everyone taking it all in as the bride gets ready.
I mean…seriously! Could she be any cuter?!
I adore these next few shots of the boys.
Sarah and Pat opted to do a first look. Once again, this is something I STRONGLY recommend! If nothing else, look how precious these moments are!
Back to the room to relax before it all goes down!
Because I already have TOO MANY pictures, I tried to get the details of the day and some of the reception into little collages.
I love these next few of the father/daughter and mother/son dance. Look at Sarah’s mom’s face as she watches. (melt)
This is what happens when you have all bartenders at a wedding and the hired bartender goes home. I love it!
